Why we are here?
The automobile market in India is now changing. Especially in the coming year 2020 will be a new era for the automobile industry. Nearly all the OEMs are focusing on the development of BSVI standard engines. The target is to launch all the existing and new vehicle with BSVI standard engine by new financial year. At the same time, some of the OEMs have sensed the urgency of rapidly changing world of automobile industries.
What companies are doing now?
They are putting lots of efforts and the huge amount of money to cope up with the market requirement – Yes, I am talking about the electric vehicle development. Either it is 2 wheeler, 4 wheeler or small, medium or high commercial vehicle.

I have associated with this industry from last 10 years. After graduation with Automobile Engineering from one of the prestigious institutes of India – Rustam Ji Institute Of Technology (Gwalior), I started digging information and knowledge through the research and development in different Automotive OEMs of India. During the same period I lead many design and development projects for off-road vehicle and passanger cars. I worked in Mahindra & Mahindra as a transmission design and development engineer and that was the phase I dive into the automobile world.
Some of the vehicles are – Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra Thar CRDe/DI, Bolero, Camper
Force Traveller, Force Gurkha 4×4, Force Trax/Cruiser
As you know the benchmarking study really helps to get knowledge about the other market players. That I did for – Maruti Suzuki Eartiga, Toyota Innova, Verito, Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Suzuki Ritz.
Just for my interest I also got involved in some engine development and design improvement project in my previous organization.
So, I acquired knowledge about the complete powertrain system.
Now it’s all changing and giant companies are really trying to win the race and ready to capture the maximum of the electric car market. So, I also changed my direction and currently working with the world’s largest independent company for the development, simulation and testing of powertrain systems – AVL List GmbH – India division. Since last one year working for the German top brand car manufacturer to develop their high range of electric car powertrain system.
The motto to start this blog :
India is far behind in the electric car technology and you also would be scrolling the google page for more updated and suitable results. The problem was the lack of good technical content writer. There were very few websites available which focus primarily on the Indian market. Maximum websites are operated by European country and information shared over them are also focused on especially the European market.
You also will agree that the youth of India are also now taking so much interest in this new technology as you see the government of India is really driving this change on priority. So, there must be a knowledge-sharing platform where one can get all the technology updates, market response and feedback for this new technology. This blog will be in such a way that even a non-technical person will get benefited after spending time over here. And he will at least get such knowledge that will help me taking decision while purchasing a new electric car, bike or scooter for personal or commercial use
