Signature electric styling

The Syros EV wears Kia’s boxy SUV language with a distinctly electric identity. Ice Cube MFR LED headlamps and Starmap LED tail lamps bookend the design. A Digital Tiger Face front fascia, closed off for aero efficiency, replaces the conventional grille. Glossy black roof rails, a shark-fin antenna, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels round out the exterior.

Structural safety architecture

Kia backs the Syros EV with a Robust 25 Hi-Safety Package. This includes 6 airbags, ABS with Brake Assist, ESC, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill-start Assist Control, and all-wheel disc brakes. Rollover sensors, ISOFIX rear anchors, and a rear occupant alert round out the passive safety net. Two batteries, one liquid-cooled architecture

Kia offers the Syros EV with a 42 kWh standard pack or a 51.4 kWh Extended Range pack, both liquid-cooled lithium-ion units. The smaller pack drives a 99 kW (135 PS) motor, while the Extended Range pack steps up to 126 kW (171 PS). Peak torque is identical at 255 Nm, delivered instantly, as is typical of single-motor EVs.

Kia’s own documentation is clear that actual driving range depends on speed, ambient temperature, topography, and accessory load, and will vary from the certified ARAI figure. One can expect around 400km to 420km in city and 360km to 380km on highway driving for 126kW battery pack option. Further if you drive it on expressways then range will drop in the range of 300km to 320km.
