Crayon launched premium looking low-speed e-Scooter in India
A Crayon Motors had one electric scooter into the Indian market but recently the company added a new electric scooter into its product portfolio. Newly launched scooter design is inspired by nature only and company named it- Crayon Envy.
A Crayon Motors operates from its Delhi headquarter and the scooter assembly location is in Pantnagar, Uttrakhand. If talk about the product portfolio then Crayon Motors has two electric scooters in the market-
1) Zeez
2) Envy
Envy Specification
A Crayon Envy looks stylish. Starting from its owl-shaped headlamp to handlebar-mounted blinkers, these show how this premium looking budget bike’s design is inspired by the mother nature. Well, Crayon Envy offers features like- stylish side mirrors, Colorful dash-board, USB mobile charging facility, storage compartment in front, comfortable large length seat, back support for pillion passenger and big backlights. Coloured flarings on the body and sticker on both sides enhance Envy’s look. Talking about the seat- its seat is provides sufficient space for the driver as well as for pillion rider.
Technical Specification
A 250-watt high-performance BLDC motors drive the Crayon Envy. This scooter is available in two variants. One is with 48V lead-acid battery and another one is having 60V Li-ion battery. Envy has a maximum speed of 25kmph. If talk about the range then lead-acid version offers 60km and li-ion version offers 60 to 70 km in a single charge. Charging time for a lead-acid battery is 5 to 6 hrs and for Li-ion battery it’s very less. Lithium-ion very scooter can full charge in 2 to 3 hours of time only. 10-inch tubeless tire along with front and rear disc brakes are also on offer. Scooter is available into three colour variants- Super White, Soothing Blue and Feisty Orange.

like other electric scooters in the market Crayon Envy also comes with loaded features. Geotagging/ geo-fencing and Central locking come as security features. Stylish LED Lights, Digital Speedometer enhances its looks and also very operational. Disc brakes ensure the good braking in all the conditions. Reverse assist is also a special feature which helps in many situations. Apart from that its aerodynamic design and mother nature’s inspired look stand out in the market.
Zero Down payment option
To promote the electric vehicle the Indian government has taken many initiatives recently. Banks are also supporting and providing an easy loan facility. Here Crayon has gone one step further and offered the Crayon Envy on Zero-downpayment option. On their official website also they are promoting this statement. Crayon Motors makes available ready EMIs option via 15 banks. Other than that as stated above, the zero downpayment option is also on offer.
Price and Warranty
The lead-acid battery version Envy costs approx Rs. 53,000/- while you have to pay Rs. 65,000/- for the li-ion battery model. Envy comes with a warranty of 12 months. Apart from that, for your information- neither of them comply for the FAME-II subsidy. Currently, this scooter is available in some states of north India.
Supporting ‘Mother Nature’

This bike is designed to fulfil the requirements of those customers who are looking for a stylish and feature-loaded bike for a daily city commute. Price of Envy is also a plus point. The range offers is enough for the city ride. This scooter can be a good choice for any working women, school or college going students and short distance commuter. As the electric two-wheeler market in India is growing rapidly but the price of this latest technology is a little bit high now. In that scenario, if Crayon Motors managed to offer its product at the competitive price can be a great deal for the Indian customers.
