Benling AURA, EV-Expo 2019 is going on in Delhi. Companies from different states of India as well as from some other countries are showcasing their new and running electric vehicles and different technologies associated with it. 20,21 & 22 December, a three day Expo is the major platform for all the associates of EV Industry to come together.

Benling India (A Chinese electric scooter manufacturing company) launched it’s a high speed scooter “Ben Ling AURA” in EV-Expo, Delhi. India is a huge market for the 2-wheelers. Estimated 39% people are dependent on two-wheeler only. So, companies coming from the China also learn from the emerging market here. Range anxiety and the speed were the major factor to reach out maximum customer. So, for the same purpose Ben Ling India now came with its high speed electric scooter. The Benling India manufacturing plant is in IMT Manesar, Haryana. All the scooters including the AURA is being manufactured here only.

Final price of AURA is expected to be around 90k. Which is quite competitive in its range. Along with this you get a bike which can be driven at the highest speed of 60 kmph and it will go up to 120 kilometers once the battery is fully charged. Company will start the delivery of this bike by the end of first quarter of 2020.

The company has already three different models of low speed electric scooter in the Indian market. KRITI, ICON and FALCON are already on sale in India. You can buy any of these online (Paytm Mall) as well as through its dealers. These all three neither requires the driving license, nor the registration. Max speed is 25kmph only which is suitable for any person in city commute.

My Words:

I visited the EV Expo 2019 and also met with the Benling representative there. I can say it’s the golden time for those who all are already in the Indian EV market. Because, by the next year, so many companies are planning to launch their electric scooters and bike in the Indian market. Then at that time it will be very difficult for the companies those are not having any USP of their product.

Benling’s product quality was good and the way they are expanding the next work in India is also showing their dedication to bring the product on top. As per the spoke person more than 5000 units are already sold in India. So, with the newly launched Benling AURA this number will definitely raise very soon. Currently AURA will compete with different eScooter models of Gemopai, Okinawa and Hero Electric.
