What Is ReBake Motors? A Stockholm Maker of Robust Electric Vehicles

ReBake describes itself as a developer of robust electric vehicles built to carry the future of transportation. Its vehicles are designed and engineered in Stockholm. The brand made its public debut on 26 October 2026, with Karl Ytterborn as Founder and CEO. At debut, the company spoke of mobile cargo tools shaped by the changing ways people and goods move through cities. It also said it wants to make electric transport an everyday choice in European cities.

Who Owns ReBake? Parent Company and the Cake Connection

Swedish company records show ReBake Supply Co AB was registered on 28 February 2025, with Karl Ytterborn as managing director. The sources we reviewed do not name a separate parent company.

Trade reports link ReBake to the family behind Swedish electric motorcycle brand Cake. They say Cake’s founder, Stefan Ytterborn, is involved along with his sons Karl and Nils. Swedish business media reported that Cake went bankrupt in 2024 and that ReBake raised around SEK 17.4 million in a funding round. ReBake’s own announcement does not discuss this history, so treat these links as reported, not confirmed.

ReBake Abler Variants: Abler45 Moped and Abler80 Light Motorcycle

The Abler range has two variants, separated by speed class:

  • Abler45: a 50 cc-equivalent electric moped in EU category L1e-B, with a 45 km/h top speed.
  • Abler80: a 125 cc-equivalent electric light motorcycle in EU category L3e-A1, with a top speed above 80 km/h.

Both are street legal in the EU and in markets that recognise EU approval. They share the same frame, wheels, suspension, brakes, dimensions and battery type. The differences lie in speed class, motor output, standard battery count and range.

ReBake Abler Price: €3,990 for Abler45, €4,990 for Abler80

Electric Scooter by ReBake

The Abler45 starts at €3,990 including VAT and the Abler80 at €4,990 including VAT, a €1,000 gap. The Abler80 comes with two batteries as standard. The Abler45 comes with one and has room for a second.

ReBake’s site lists India with euro pricing but shows a notice that the bike is not yet available in this market. It invites interested parties to become a partner. No rupee price, Indian homologation detail or India launch date has been announced.

ReBake Abler Range: Up to 160 km on Abler45, 114 km on Abler80

ReBake publishes range by battery count and riding pace:

ConfigurationAbler45Abler80
One battery, inner-city pace80 km57 km
One battery, faster city pace60 km49 km
Two batteries, inner-city pace160 km114 km
Two batteries, faster city pace120 km98 km

At inner-city pace with two batteries, the Abler80’s claimed range is about 29% lower than the Abler45’s (114 km against 160 km). The gap narrows at faster city pace, where the figures are 98 km and 120 km.

These are manufacturer estimates based on the original tyres. ReBake says an alternative street tyre can increase range. It adds that real-world range depends on riding style, road surface, temperature, tyre pressure and load.

Swappable LFP Batteries and Charging: Four Hours Per Pack

Charging uses a standard 230 V household outlet. Each battery takes 4 hours for 0–100% and 3 hours for 0–80%. ReBake notes that riders rarely start charging from 0%.
