XPeng L03 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show: Physical AI Museum Display

The L03 is on show at the Paris Motor Show (12–18 October 2026, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles). XPeng’s stand in Hall 6 covers more than 1,000 square metres and is laid out as a “Physical AI Museum” with four areas: technology stack, AI-defined vehicles, humanoid robots and flying cars. The L03 stands beside the new G9L flagship, the P7+, G6, G9 and X9, with the IRON humanoid robot among the exhibits.

Who Makes the XPeng L03? XPeng Company and Shareholder Background

The L03 is built by Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology Co., Ltd., trading as XPeng Motors. Founded in 2014 and based in Guangzhou, it is listed on the NYSE (XPEV) and Hong Kong exchange (9868). It delivered 429,445 vehicles in 2025. XPeng has no formal parent company: chairman He Xiaopeng is the controlling shareholder, and Volkswagen Group is a strategic shareholder with a 4.99% stake bought in 2023.

XPeng L03 Design, Dimensions, Aerodynamics and Colour Options

The L03 measures 4,650 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall. Design cues include a floating roof, Starship headlights and a full-width Star-Ring taillight. Drag is 0.228 Cd, and XPeng claims 22 aerodynamic optimisations add up to 59.3 km of WLTP range.

Arctic White is standard in Denmark; four other colours, including Phantom Purple, cost 8,000 DKK (about €1,100) extra.

XPeng L03 Interior: Screens, Audio, Boot Space and Frunk

All Danish trims get a 15.6-inch 2.5K centre display and a 26.8-inch windshield head-up display. The 1.31 m² panoramic glass roof is fixed and does not open.

The frunk holds 89 L on rear-drive cars and 44 L on all-wheel drive, and the rear seats split 40/20/40. An optional detachable tow bar (7,900 DKK) allows up to 1,500 kg.

XPeng L03 Range-Extender (PowerX) Version Explained

Denmark sells only the electric L03, but the PowerX range-extender is offered in Belgium, Sweden, Austria and Germany. Its petrol engine only charges the battery. For Europe it is rated at 215 km electric-only and 1,017 km combined on the WLTP cycle.

XPeng L03 Charging Speed: 400 V Platform, 3C Peak and 10–80% Time

The L03 is a 400 V car. Peak DC power is 193 kW on Standard Range and 236 kW on the rest, with 10–80% in about 20 minutes, roughly 3.3C. AC charging is 11 kW three-phase, and V2L needs a separately sold adapter (6.6 kW on Ultra).

XPeng’s claim that the X-HP 3.5 heat pump cuts winter energy use by up to 16% is a manufacturer claim, not an independent test.

XPeng L03 Driver Assistance: Bosch vs Turing Chips and NGP Rollout

Standard Range, Long Range and AWD Performance use Bosch driver-assistance hardware. Only AWD Performance Ultra gets XPeng’s Turing chips: three, totalling 2,250 TOPS (two for driving, one for the cabin). NGP with VLA 2.0 is planned for Ultra only, with a first Level 2+ City and Highway version in Q1 2027. Fully self-driving is not announced.

In Paris, the L03 is XPeng’s feature vehicle in the show’s official Autonomous Lab program. XPeng and Tesla are the only two automakers taking part, and the public can take NGP test rides in the L03 on European roads.

XPeng L03 Google Maps Navigation and Connected Features

Google Maps is standard on every L03 trim, covering navigation, charge planning and driver assistance. The car also offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Bluetooth phone key and 50 W wireless charging.

XPeng L03 Safety Features, Euro NCAP Status and Warranty

XPeng counts 16 active-safety functions, though not all are standard on every trim. Automatic emergency braking works up to 150 km/h, and tyre-blowout stability control is standard. XPeng calls the car “5-Star Ready,” but that is a readiness claim; no Euro NCAP result is published yet. The warranty is 7 years or 160,000 km.

XPeng L03 Price in Europe and Danish Lease Offer

Brand Day “from” prices for the electric version: France €34,990, Netherlands €36,990, Belgium €34,990, Austria €36,600, Norway 299,900 NOK and Sweden 399,900 SEK. First European customer deliveries are expected from October 2026, with Danish deliveries due this month.

XPeng Denmark’s 48-month private lease (10,000 km a year, 29,995 DKK upfront) runs from 2,595 DKK a month (about €350) for Standard Range to 4,395 DKK (about €590) for Ultra, valid 1 October to 30 December 2026.

XPeng L03 China vs Europe Version Differences

China’s pre-sale prices run from 143,800 to 165,800 yuan; its batteries are rated on the optimistic CLTC cycle. Chinese cars carry NGP, VLA 2.0 and Turing chips throughout, while most European trims use Bosch hardware.

Is the XPeng L03 Launching in India? Global Rollout Status

No Indian launch or pricing has been announced. The L03 has launched in Thailand (18 August 2026) and the Philippines (25 September 2026), with Australia expected by end-2026 and the UK in 2027.

XPeng L03 Verdict: Strengths, Limitations and What to Watch

On paper, the L03 pairs a sub-€33,000 Danish entry price with LFP batteries and 3C charging. The caveats: NGP is Ultra-only and arrives in Q1 2027, and Euro NCAP has not rated the car.
