Two electric flagships, a 112 kWh battery and a seven-model roadmap. Here is what CEER announced and what the numbers tell us.
Key Takeaways
- His Royal Highness the Crown Prince launched the Exobot sedan and SUV, the first vehicles from CEER Motors, on 21 September 2026.
- Both models use a Tri-Motor all-wheel-drive system with a 112 kWh battery on an 800V architecture.
- NEDC range is up to 670 km for the sedan and 560 km for the SUV. DC fast charging from 10% to 80% takes under 30 minutes.
- Figures shown at the launch event include 1,111 hp, 1,500 Nm and a 250 km/h top speed. CEER’s website lists lower power figures (see the note below the specs table).
- A limited First Edition trim is listed as “available soon”. CEER plans seven models by 2030 and a 45% localisation target by 2034.
Saudi Arabia now has a car brand of its own. On Monday, 21 September 2026, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), launched the first vehicles from CEER Motors. The electric sedan and SUV carry the name Exobot. The launch is being framed as a milestone in the Kingdom’s push to build an advanced industrial sector under Saudi Vision 2030.
Marking the occasion, His Royal Highness said:
“The launch of the first cars of [CEER] represents another step taken by the Kingdom in its journey to build a sustainable and prosperous industrial system and empower the automotive industry as a key tributary to economic growth, by attracting investments, empowering national competencies and enhancing the role of the private sector, to make the Kingdom a leading regional and global hub in this sector.“

What Is CEER Motors?
CEER Motors (Arabic: سير) is Saudi Arabia’s first automotive and original technology (OEM) brand. The PIF and Foxconn established it as a joint venture in 2022. It is the first entity in the Kingdom to design, engineer, test and manufacture cars, and to run sales and after-sales services. Its team has grown from 20 people to 2,300 since inception.
CEER Exobot Specs: Sedan vs SUV
The two models share a powertrain layout and battery. They differ in body, range and acceleration.
| Specification | Exobot Sedan | Exobot SUV |

| Top speed | 250 km/h | 250 km/h |
| Drive system | Tri-Motor, all-wheel drive | Tri-Motor, all-wheel drive |
| Battery | 112 kWh, 800V architecture | 112 kWh, 800V architecture |
| Range (NEDC) | Up to 670 km | Up to 560 km |
| DC fast charging (10–80%) | Under 30 minutes | Under 30 minutes |
| Chassis | Torque vectoring, adaptive dual-chamber air suspension | Torque vectoring, adaptive dual-chamber air suspension |
| Steering | Steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering | Steer-by-wire with steering yoke, rear-wheel steering up to 6.5° |
A note on the figures: The performance numbers above are those presented at the launch event. At the time of writing, CEER’s model pages list a maximum output of 850 hp (625 kW) and a 0–100 km/h time of 2.6 seconds for the sedan. Figures may be revised as CEER publishes a full specification sheet.
What the numbers imply. The SUV gives up 110 km of NEDC range to the sedan on the same 112 kWh pack, a trade-off typical of a taller body. Working from the stated pack size, the NEDC figures imply roughly 16.7 kWh per 100 km for the sedan and 20 kWh per 100 km for the SUV (our calculation, assuming the full 112 kWh is what counts). On charging, a 10–80% top-up in 30 minutes adds about 78 kWh, an average of more than 150 kW. NEDC is a laboratory cycle, so real-world range will vary with conditions and driving style.
CEER also cited three years, 70 innovations and 50 patents in its launch presentation.

Design: What Sets the Sedan and SUV Apart
CEER calls the overall design language UltraDynamic Proportions. Both models ride on lightweight, staggered wheels and share Shahin Wing Doors. CEER also says it fitted the largest windshield ever produced, 2.4 metres long and inclined at 15 degrees, the steepest in its class. The styling draws on the Kingdom’s land and culture.
The sedan is the low, sculpted one. The SUV has a wedge-shaped silhouette, dual moonroofs with deep black glass and adjustable ride height. The two share a 3,200 mm wheelbase, but the sedan is 244 mm longer and the SUV 265 mm taller.
| Dimension | Exobot Sedan | Exobot SUV |
| Length | 5,260 mm | 5,016 mm |
| Width | 2,102 mm | 2,101 mm |
| Height | 1,428 mm | 1,693 mm |
| Wheelbase | 3,200 mm | 3,200 mm |
| Ground clearance | 155 mm (165 mm with active air suspension) | 280 mm (300 mm with active air suspension) |
| Boot capacity | Not specified | 402 L |
Five colors, all inspired by Saudi Arabia, are offered: Abha Green, Obaya Black, Harrat Gray, Sky Silver and White Musk.

Where It Is Built and What Comes Next
Every CEER model will be built at the CEER Manufacturing Complex (CMC), described as the largest automotive production facility in the Middle East. It sits in King Abdullah Economic City, within the King Salman Automotive Cluster. CEO James DeLuca said the project went from initial design and advanced engineering to one of the world’s most advanced manufacturing facilities “in record time.”
The Exobot pair are the first two of seven vehicles CEER plans to launch by 2030, announced as a five-year rollout. The line-up will include mid-size and small models. CEER’s partners include BMW, Hyundai Transys, Rimac, Siemens, Schuler, Dover, XYG and Lear globally. Locally they include Zamil Group, Abdul Latif Jameel Group and APICO (Balbid Group of Companies). These partnerships support a localisation target of 45% by 2034.
CEER’s own projections, framed to 2034, put the programme in national-economy terms.
| Indicator | Projected Impact |
| GDP contribution | More than SAR 30 billion (US$8 billion) |
| Trade balance improvement | Around SAR 80 billion (US$21 billion) |
| Jobs | About 30,000 direct and indirect |
| Saudi share of direct jobs | 80% |
| Local content | 45% by 2034 |
CEER also supports the Saudi Green Initiative’s goal of net zero in the Kingdom by 2060.
| Date | Milestone |
